Archive of Fortran Specialist Group Events 1970 - 1993

The BCS Fortran Specialist Group typically met four times per year up to 1993. The agenda and minutes were distributed to members on paper by BCS HQ. The papers from 1970 to 1993 have been digitised, copying the original fonts and layouts as closely as possible.

They have also been converted to HTML in the same style although the layouts are slightly different (no page breaks for example). The agenda, hyperlinked to the minutes, serve as a list of contents for matters discussed at the meetings and the appendices to the minutes give summaries of presentations and reports on progress with the development of Fortran77 and Fortran90.

November 1993 was the last quarterly meeting of the Fortran Specialist Group before changing to a pattern of AGMs and special events. These are linked from the Past Events page.
