  1. Report on "Fortran Futures 96" by Chris Lazou
  2. Report on "the F programming language" by Miles Ellis
    "F is a subset of Fortran 90 which retains all the modern features of the language and eliminates the obsolete ones, while also imposing tighter constraints in some areas than does Fortran 90. It is designed as a crossplatform language for both teaching and professional use, with compilers being available for most popular platforms, including Windows 95, Windows NT, Macintosh, Power Macintosh, Unix and Linux."
  3. "Whither Fortran" - general discussion on the future of Fortran,
    with particular reference to the content of the next Standard Fortran (Fortran 2000) and its relationship with such variants of Fortran as HPF, Elf9O, F, etc.
